On May 1, May Day, Italians celebrate with a huge concert held at Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano. My husband and I live right across the street from this piazza so we hear the music well!!! It's fun going out to take pictures, partake of some of the Italian treats (sausage sandwiches, porchetta sandwiches, lots of sweets)! Here are some of the pictures including the basilica which is right next to the concert stage! Enjoy the pictures.
