More Hats!

I just finished knitting a beret. I found a simple pattern on the internet and love it! It's very nice. I love this color of green also. Nice to keep my hands busy too!

New Knit Items

I made a patriotic skinny scarf and a few more hats! If anyone would like a pattern I could post. Mostly I just use simple knit patterns and don't follow any one in particular. I love the various colors of yarn and the way it feels in my hands, plus working with my hands sort of relaxes me!

Three Day Trip to East Coast of Italy

My husband, Doyle, and I took a few days to tour a bit of the seacoast along the eastern side of Italy, specifically Vieste, Peschici and Monte Sant Angelo! Lovely area. Terrific seafood! Had a great time! The picture of me standing by a railing by the sea was a restaurant we ate in. It had a private balcony with one table only right at the back of the restaurant over the sea. It was soooo beautiful!

May Day Italian Style

On May 1, May Day, Italians celebrate with a huge concert held at Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano. My husband and I live right across the street from this piazza so we hear the music well!!! It's fun going out to take pictures, partake of some of the Italian treats (sausage sandwiches, porchetta sandwiches, lots of sweets)!
